How to Use ImgBurn Layer Break Options?

How to create a double layer DL DVD ISO image file using ImgBurn? Is the only the Blue star should be selected? This article will teach you to set ImgBurn layer break options properly.

Preparation: 1. the original DVD should be D9 disc, and the output ISO aims at burning onto DL DVD.

2. All DVD movie information, say VOB, IFO, BUP files should be in VIDEO_TS folder, which hold the entire DVD structure and navigations.

3. Download and install ImgBurn on your computer.

Skipped Steps: 1. launch your ImgBurn to check whether you like it.

2. Choose create an image (ISO) from file / folders.

3. Load your source VIDEO_TS folder by clicking Source dropdown button.

Step 1: Click the calculator button to analyze the output ISO image size. But on the right side of this button, we recommend you check the auto setting if you do not want to set it manually.

Step 3: this step goes to where you can split your DVD movie to dual layer ISO image. And if you do not care about this, you can simply “Ignore Layer Break Option”. In A section, you can check the star color and the Green is best choice to make layer break point, following with Blue, Yellow and White.
